Aid for Trade

We aim to provide technical support to developing countries, particularly Least Developed Countries – focusing on building supply-side capacity to enable them to benefit from World Trade Organization agreements (after AfT entered the WTO agenda with the Doha Development round in 2005). AfT can drive innovative approaches, especially when new technologies are utilised, private sector resources and expertise are leveraged, and market-oriented solutions are applied.
